Claudia Marin
Claudia is a native Italian speaker from the beautiful city of Venice. She currently lives in the South West and works as a Spanish and Italian teacher at Marlborough College.
She holds a master’s degree in Comparative Literature (English, Spanish and Italian) from the University of Siena (Italy), and spent her year abroad at Bristol, where she studied Old English and Portuguese alongside English Literature.
She started as an Italian language assistant in a secondary school in London and soon language teaching became her passion. After getting her Italian teaching qualification for Italian as a second language and teaching Italian in different secondary schools, she is now training to gain her Spanish qualification while studying for her PGCE.
She also privately tutors GCSE and A Level students, as well as adult learners, combining more formal teaching to conversation classes. She has a passion for primary education and would like to work with children in the future.
When she is not working, Claudia enjoys cooking typical Italian recipes, like pizza and pasta from scratch or tiramisu, while experimenting new recipes she discovered while travelling around the world.
