Nacho was born in Lugo, Galicia, in northwest Spain. He is a native speaker of Spanish and Galician.
After finishing his degree in Translation and Interpreting in Vigo (Spain), where he studied English, French and a bit of Portuguese, Nacho moved to Bristol in 2014 to improve his English and make a living out of language teaching.
His teaching career began as a private tutor teaching Spanish to teenagers (GCSE and A-Level) at 3A Tutors and Tutor Doctor, then he worked for a year and a half at The Language Studio in Bristol, teaching Spanish to adult learners. He has experience as a teaching assistant and learning support both in primary and secondary education. Last year, he studied for a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages at Cardiff Metropolitan University where he started learning Welsh. He also works as an interpreter for the NHS and Bristol City Council.
In his free time, he loves playing and watching basketball, reading, hiking, and going to gigs.
