Tegan is a TEFL-certified English and Spanish teacher with a degree in Spanish and French Translation from Cardiff University
She has a strong passion for languages and cultural exchange, which led her to study and live abroad during her Erasmus year in Paris and Barcelona, where she developed a lasting connection with Spain.
Following her degree, Tegan moved to Galicia in north-west Spain, where a planned nine-month stay turned into almost three years.
She began working as a teaching assistant in rural primary and secondary schools before progressing to teaching English to adults, specialising in Cambridge and IELTS exam preparation. Alongside this, she built and managed her own private tutoring business, delivering personalised lessons to students of all ages.
Tegan also volunteers as a translator for global charities and has collaborated with organisations helping disadvantaged young people access language learning and cultural opportunities.
Now based back in Wiltshire, she enjoys being outdoors and expressing her creativity through art projects. As an enthusiastic language learner herself, she has explored Portuguese and Arabic and has picked up some Galician from her time in northern Spain. She brings energy and creativity into her lessons, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
