Level C1 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
In this course, you will learn how to
- Express yourself with ease, spontaneity and effectively for social, academic and professional scenarios.
- Make jokes and use the double meaning or irony.
- Be able to understand a wide variety of discourses: literary texts, films, scholarly articles, television, etc.
- Produce clear speech, fluent and well structured with a controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
- Learn to overcome communication problems with discretion.
If you are not sure what level within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) you should join, we can assess your language skills.
Cancellation Policy at Marlborough School of Languages
If for any reason you are unable to attend a one-to-one class, you must advise us at least 24 hours notice before the start of the originally scheduled session.
If classes are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the class, course fees will not be refunded.
Where a booking has been made for our adult group courses, payment can only be refunded if you notify us at least 48 hours before the start of the course.
In circumstances of force majeure, such as unexpected illness or a family emergency, we may be able to transfer your course fee to other classes/products. This credit will be valid for 180 days from the start date of the course you originally booked.
